I still tipped the guy 20%, but he really detracted from our enjoyment at dinner and our aggregate experience. We had host assisted reservations for 7:30 Friday night, 9-9. When I tried to call him over to get our check, he waived me off and waited about 25 minutes to come see what we needed. We did however have a server on this trip that was impersonal and short with us. Had reservations for Saturday too but left Saturday afternoon.
